The student placed in this position will assist the Translational Research Institute for Space Health (TRISH) in supporting TRISH’s commercial spaceflight biomedical/biosample collection program.
TRISH is a lean, virtual institute empowered by the NASA Human Research Program to solve the challenges of human deep space exploration. TRISH relentlessly pursues and funds novel research to deliver high-impact scientific and technological solutions that advance space health and help humans thrive wherever they explore, in space or on Earth. To increase education, awareness, and engagement with TRISH, the intern will work closely with the TRISH communications team in assisting with various communications projects.
These projects include but are not limited to: biomedical data and biosample collection from commercial spaceflight participants; sustainment and support of hardware/software used in collection of data/samples from commercial spaceflight participants; management of the biomedical data and biosamples collected from commercial spaceflight participants; development and testing of procedures used in collection of biomedical data and biosamples from commercial spaceflight participants.
