The Resource Management and Integration Office of the Center Operation Directorate is seeking an intern who will assist the Business Manager and his staff in the collection, integration, and analysis of diverse data sets including but limited to technical, financial, and risk information. Intern will use data to identify trends and key metric drivers that will provide insight to management and other key stakeholders to enable decision making. The intern’s summer experience will culminate with a project to develop a set of standard data reports along with a dashboard prototype. Through this experience the intern will learn or improve on skills in the areas of data modeling and visualization, storytelling with data, and data driven decision making.
COMPUTER/SOFTWARE SKILLS: Excel (including the use and creation of pivot tables), PowerPoint, databases, Tableau (desired by not necessary), and Microsoft Office.
OTHER SKILLS: Have good analytical skills. A good problem solver that is detailed oriented. Have a passion for data along with good communication skills. Self-starter.
